L’Ermite was designed to allow you to disconnect while enjoying essential comfort, all in an approach aimed at reducing our ecological footprint. This commitment to detail has earned us the Pages Vertes eco-friendly certification, an accolade awarded following a rigorous assessment conducted by an independent body.
Electricity is voluntarily limited, but you will find everything you need: an electric auxiliary heater, a mini-fridge, an espresso machine, and two electric burners for cooking. In summer, enjoy the outdoor shower, and in winter, immerse yourself in a unique experience by washing yourself with melted snow on the wood stove.
You will experience an outdoor dry toilet and a totally disconnected environment, while enjoying a good cellular network (no wi-fi on site): however, we strongly encourage you to put your cell phone in the cell box. 😉

There is no bathroom inside the chalet. There is a dry toilet outside, near the chalet. In addition, there is no indoor shower, however you will have access to an outdoor shower from May 15 to October 15 (no heating element for the water – heated by solar action). You must therefore wash with a washcloth from October to May. There is a mini refrigerator but there is no stove. You will therefore have to use the wood stove, the electric hotplate (2 burners) or the outdoor fireplace for your cooking. There is no lighting, but rechargeable lanterns and candles are provided. The chalet has only 1 bedroom on the mezzanine nine with 2 double beds with mattresses covered with hygienic covers: you must bring your own bedding. All in all, a real rustic experience from yesteryear!
The chalet will be entirely exclusive to you, while the outdoor shower and the charging station for electric cars are shared with The Pilgrim (neighboring chalet 100 meters away).

First and foremost, there are no fees for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of your booking, with the exception of last-minute bookings made up to 5 days before your scheduled arrival date. So, if a booking has been made by accident, you have the peace of mind to change it without worry. In addition, you can cancel up to 5 days before your scheduled arrival date for a full refund, less a 10% fee of the total booking amount. This fee covers our administrative costs as well as the costs associated with the difficulty of finding another tenant within a short period of time. After the 5-day period, no refund will be possible. This policy is designed to give you the flexibility you need while ensuring the quality of our services.
